  I realized today that a Google Search for William Bakker results in my entry for the mirror project. WilliamsWeekly is nowhere to be found. I should probably include my name and bio somewhere.

  Update: I’ve included a little tagline to get my name on the Website. It’s kinda boring, I hope to come up wit something better soon.

  Spend all weekend in Whistler with Sheri and brother-in-law Troy. Troy made this very cool picture of me jumping a table in the terrain park. The snow was incredible and the weather was great. Sometimes it can feel so good when every muscle of you body hurts.

  I visited San Francisco a few weeks ago for some Usability testing. One day, I had breakfast in Mel’s Drive-In on Van Ness. When I opened up the menu I realized that the information I was interested in was covered with specials not related to breakfast. I had to remove them to read what was of value to me. An offline pop-up.

  While waiting for the bus last Friday, I read an article on the front page of the National Post. I had to laugh out loud, because the article is very, very funny. It makes fun of CNN’s reporting of the Hurricane Isabel. The best line by far is:

  The hurricane had made landfall at North Carolina. Wolf called the action as though Allied soldiers had made landfall on the beaches of France.

  Went out last night and saw our Web Technicial and Sushi master Michael Chang play in his band See No Star last night. Their first demo CD is coming out on Saturday and they’ll mark the occasion by playing The Purple Crab, go check them out.

  Rust

  De rust is wedergekeert in Vancouver. Rob is alweer twee weken geleden terug naar Nederland. Sheri en ik hebben het onwijs druk gehad. Sheri met school en ik met m’n werk. Het is een gekkenhuis. Afgelopen week moest ik naar “Vanderhoof”, een klein plaatsje in de middle of nowhere om een presentatie te geven over “e-Tourism”. Dat een leuke afwisseling. Ik zit in veel te veel vergaderingen. Ik kom nergens aan toe. Al m’n web development doe ik s’avond en thuis. Maar ik klaag niet niet want het is goede ervaring allemaal.
  

  
  Sheri is bijna klaar met school voor dit jaar. Ze is nu dag en nacht werkstukken aan het maken en knutselen. En daarbij werkt ze nog bij de crisislijn. We zien elkaar niet veel de laatste tijd. Gelukkig hebben we 4 dagen vrij zonder werk.
  

  
  We zijn vorige weekend naar Whisler geweest en dat was fantastisch, ik zal volgende week wat foto’s plaatsen.

  Nou, Rob is aangekomen en dat hebben we geweten. Sheri is al 4 keer een dikke genoemt en ik heb alle branden gelukkig kunnen blussen. Nee, het valt wel mee hoor, we hebben het hartstikke gezellig. Gisteren heb ik Rob Vancouver laten zien. En daarna naar het ijshockey geweest!

  Niet vergeten, donderdag 7 maart ben ik jarig. Iedereen is van harte uitgenodigd, de koffie is om 8 uur klaar. Als je niet kunt komen kun je altijd mijn verlanglijst op
  Amazon.com bezoeken en je kado opsturen. Het enige wat je nodig hebt is een credit card. Handig he?
