Great post William. Fiji ran a sweepstakes through a 'Thrill Me' game application on Facebook in December. It was a digitized version of a board game that they created for users to explore a few of the attractions that Fiji has to offer. We're only starting to see this sort of experimentation increase and as they do they'll get more targeted. DMOs will either incorporate the games into their Facebook Pages or work with third party developers on stand-alone applications. The latter most likely becoming more popular as Facebook recently changed their policy to ban prizes and sweepstakes on their Platform unless run through a third party application.
